Before moving to Geelong Nikketa practised commercial law in her home town, Ballarat. During this time she was also the Law Institute of Victoria Young Lawyers representative for the region. Nikketa has also mentored for Victorian Women Lawyers. 

Nikketa is a board member and the secretary of the not-for-profit organisation “Read the Play”, a mental health literacy program designed for junior levels of sports clubs.

Outside the office, Nikketa loves to keep active in as many ways possible and is always up for a challenge in the kitchen.
